Intellectual Property
Content of the human mind deemed to be unique, original and having market value, such as copyrighted material (art, literary works), trademarks (logos, product names), patents (inventions, processes), and trade secrets (formulae, codes).
Internal Architecture
The interconnecting navigational system between the pages of a website.
Internal Link
A navigational or referencing hyperlink that points to the same or another webpage within the same website.
Internal Site Search
A search function specific to one site. This tool allows users to find what ever they are looking for on a website by typing in the search term.
Interstitial
Intrusive, pop-up ad which appears in front of the requested content until it can be clicked away. It appears without the specific request of the user and is done to grab attention.
Inventory
The quantity of advertising space available determined by the number of ads per page, the number of pages containing ads and advertisements in effect.
Invisible Text
Text on a website that is not visible to human visitors using a standard browser, a form of black hat SEO.
