Bridge Page
aka Doorway Page. Pages optimized for one key term, but designed to lead to different content.
Brightness
Subjective visual perception in which a source appears to emit an unquantifiable amount of light.
Broken Link
A link no longer connected with its destination.
Browse
A user's movement on the Internet moving from webpage to webpage via hyperlinks using a web browser.
Browser Compatibility
Different browsers treat or display webpages differently. Web design and SEO steps need to be taken so that webpages are browser independent.
Browser Independent
Means that the webpages will work as they are supposed to, on whatever choice of browser.
BTF
Below The Fold. The portion of a webpage not visible to a visitor unless they scroll down.

Button Ad
A graphic advertisement on a webpage smaller than a banner.
Call To Action
A statement, usually at the end of a marketing piece, encouraging the reader to take the action that is the objective of the piece. This action may be purchasing the company's product or service, or simply taking the next step in the sales cycle, such as arranging a product demonstration.
