Deleted and Obsolete Top Level Domains
A number of Country-Code Top Level Domains (ccTLDs) have been discontinued and deleted due to changing circumstances.
.CS was used as the TLD for the now extinct Czechoslavakia. It is replaced by .CZ for the Czech Republic and .SK for Slavakia.
.DD was discontinued since East Germany merged with West Germany into one nation using .DE.
.OZ was ended for Australia as unnecessary due to their .AU ccTLD.
.NATO was temporarily in existence, but now they generally use the .INT TLD.
ccTLDs are constantly monitored and added to or deleted as deemed necessary to meet the needs of the Internet community.
