Clicktracks
A system for tracking and analyzing SEO efforts and trends.
Cloaking
Building a webpage so that the search engines see one thing and visitors another. This results in a poor experience for visitors, and can get a website removed from search engine indexing if detected.
Closed Loop
A linking structure where a group of webpages are heavily interlinked, with few links to or from outside the group. Search engines do not like, and often penalize Closed Loops.
Clustering
A search engine limiting a website to one or two listings in the SERPs.
Code Bloat
When a webpage or website is so full of redundant tags, font tags, scripts or other code that it becomes difficult to edit, slow to download or hard for search engines to index.
Collective Fusion
The practice of combining search results from multiple entities, such as what a meta engine does.
Comment Tag
An HTML tag. <!-- Your Comment Here --> It appears in the HTML tags and is invisible to website visitors, but many search engine spiders can see and index them. They may be used to identify parts of the webpage requiring future revision or explanation as to how the CSS or other Source Code is used for a section of the webpage.
