On-Site SEO
Optimization efforts for a website performed within the site such as Content Management, Code optimizing, Alt text images and internal architecture design.
Opt Out
A type of program which assumes inclusion unless stated otherwise.
Organic
Natural or ethical. Promotion efforts based on attaining high relevance and quality so variables achieve results based on their own merits, as opposed to paid for results.
Organic Linking
Creating links that have relevant text, categories and departure points.
Organic Listing
SERPs listings that appear solely because of deemed high relevance with the query terms, without preference to paid listings.
Organic SEM
Organic (or ethical or natural) Search Engine Marketing.
Outbound Links
Links within a website that are pointing to outside sites. Does not affect link popularity. Care must be taken not to link to a website that may get you banned like a link farm.
Overriding Commission
The commission payable by the merchant to the network as the result of a concluded sale by an affiliate.
